This website is dedicated to Shri Akbarkhan Babi, one of three Saurashtra's present days famous cricket coach, Shri Velji Master, (Who coached Great Amar Singh) and Shri V. L. Nakum. These three prominent Saurashtrian cricket coaches helped many prominent cricketers of Western Zone to blossom into name and fame. I would like to especially shed light on Shri Akbar khan Babi's dedication and contribution through Saurashtra, Gujarat, Bombay, and Baroda cricket associations. In the last forty years, his coaching camp in Rajkot known as RSA produced at least 70-80 cricketers with national and international caliber. Some of his cricketers played prominently in India and abroad. I, Niranjan Mehta, am one of his beneficiaries. I also respectfully remember some of the extremely talented cricketers of my time coached by Akbarkhan Babi these cricketers never had the opportunity to represent India but should have. Namely: Uday Joshi, Atul Mehta, Jaswant Bakrania, and Arvind Panchasara. Mahendra Rajdev, Bhupendra Mandavia. Dhiraj Parsana was the only one who played 4-5 Test Matches for India against West Indies.

I strongly believe that during my cricketing time following cricketers from Gujarat State should have played for Indian cricket team namely, Narottam, Naishad Baxi, Ashok Joshi, Pankaj Javeri, Ramesh Patel, Dhiru Patel, Jayprakash Patel, Sangram Gaikwad, Jam Saheb Shatrushalya and Magan Patel.Ramesh Nagdev.

The whole idea of this website is to share all the old happy cricketing days in Gujarat, Saurashtra, England, Scotland, and the Mafatlal Group with my friends and cricket associates.
